Live Action Role Play

The Live-Action Role-Playing Game Set In Dogma

An experience hosted in our environments and created in collaboration with Storytelling inspired by our Lore.

What is a LARP?

The acronym stands for Live Action Role Play or, in Italian, Live Role Play. These are games in which one physically dresses in the shoes of a character, interpreting his or her actions within a narrative. You usually have a character sheet in which his character, past and relationships with others are described. The experience is close to that of the improvisational theatre. In fact, there is no predefined script and the story will be built on the basis of the choices the players will make for the characters, making them react to events.

However, LARP has a strong acting component, players are not actors. Everyone gets involved to the best of their abilities, guided by the card and the narrative cues proposed by the scene. The secret is to collaborate all together in the creation of a good narrative. Don't be afraid to make mistakes: even if you don't compose the perfect sentence or forget some important information, you will go ahead riding the wave of improvisation.

IMPORTANT

This is not an Escape Room!

The Makers

The Origins of Evil was born from the collaboration with STORYTELLING, a duo of LARP designers with solid experience in the world of live role-playing games. After playing our Escape Room, they were impressed by the atmosphere and the set design, immediately realising the potential for bringing the two worlds together.
Starting from the original storyline of our game, they significantly expanded the lore, building an immersive and articulate experience.
We particularly took care of the experiential aspect and provided props.
The result is a unique event that is a perfect entry point into the vast universe of LARP.

The Plot

Turin. An isolated house. A call for help.

Father Hammon responds to the desperate plea of Michael, a man haunted by visions and unexplained noises in his home. But from the first moment, Hammon realises that this is no ordinary haunting: the house is imbued with something ancient... and conscious.

Realising that he alone cannot deal with what is awakening within those walls, he calls in other occult experts. What was supposed to be an exorcism becomes a race against time.

A fight for salvation.
A journey to the heart of Evil.

There may be some tense moments, but it is not a horror experience. Overall, we could call it a psychological thriller.
The duration depends very much on the players themselves, tending to last 150 minutes on average. Our staff might increase the pace in the case of stalemates, but will always leave room for spontaneous interpretation by the participants.
No, but it is important to do your best to speak and act as you imagine the character would, this will make the experience much more realistic and immersive. We do not recommend calling fellow players by their proper names and/or alluding to their identity in reality.
